Oh hi! I’m Amanda Pulcini. I'm an actor, singer, dancer, and producer living in Chicago and the Bay Area...
I lived in NYC for several years working in the city and in regional houses across the country.
I am a current MFA Acting student at The Theatre School at DePaul university and I received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory. As a proud member of the Actors Equity Association, I have performed in theatres on a regional and world wide scale.
I was the Artistic Producer at the Pocono Mountains Music Festival in the heart of the Poconos in Pennsylvania. I worked hand in hand with Broadway conductor Joey Chancey (An American in Paris, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Gigi, Annie) producing a seven concert lineup as well as developing the Performing Arts Music Fest camp for local students. I am the lead producer of New Works development in association with NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
"To bring an audience the revelation of their failings and aspirations, their dreams and desires, the negative and positive aspects of human beings- this is what we should set as our goal as committed theatre artists."
- Uta Hagen
Watching the development of new work is an incredibly moving experience for me. Each time I see the world premiere of a brand new show or film, it reminds me of why I chose to be a performer. I want to give back to the community in a powerful way, and art does that by offering audiences a shared experience of catharsis through effective storytelling. I believe that the most valuable part of working in this medium is connecting with a group of actors, writers, and directors that want to continue to create great art that can change the world.
